The annual PASC meeting which gives scrutiny to Dame Julie Mellor’s Ombudsman service had been confirmed for 16th December with access for the public at 4.30 pm.
This year the heat is on, as this annual meeting falls between the evidence gathering sessions for the PASC Inquiry ‘Complaints – do they make a difference’. The committee have been influenced by a number of speakers and by the recent private meeting with complainants, to see the Ombudsman service through the eyes of others and not just accept the rhetoric of those in charge. Their thinking may well be reflected in their questioning, which could be more rigorous than usual.
A seasonal delight not to be missed! Check out details by following the link below.
It would be good to have a significant show of interest in the public seating area. If you are thinking of attending then make your way to the Cromwell Green Gate (No 7 on the map) by 4.00 pm at the latest. It could take 30 minutes to get through security and find the chamber, which is Room 5. At the gate you need to tell security the name of the meeting and the room number in order to gain access. MAP
Hope to see you there.
